This Privacy Policy explains how PurePlay (“PurePlay”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application Mahjong Ascend and any other casual games we publish that link to this policy (collectively, the “App”).
We built the App to be simple and casual. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or precise GPS location. We do, however, collect certain technical and usage information automatically, as described below — most importantly to measure advertising performance (attribution) and to keep the App working well.

The App uses your device’s Advertising ID (GAID) for advertising attribution and measurement through our attribution provider (Adjust) and advertising partners. You can control this identifier in your device settings:
Resetting or deleting your advertising ID limits the use of that identifier for advertising measurement.

We may share attribution and event data (such as the advertising ID, device/IP-derived country, the referring campaign/link, and event names) with our attribution provider and the relevant advertising partner so that advertising can be measured. We do not sell your contact information (we don’t collect any).
To allow us to offer new games without requiring an app update, the App may load games and content hosted by us or by our partners over the internet, selected based on your country/region. Some of this content may be operated by third-party partners that have their own privacy practices and may offer in-app purchases or additional features. When you interact with such content, the operator’s privacy policy and terms apply to the information you provide there. We encourage you to review those policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party operators.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We retain attribution and event data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy (typically up to 24 months), after which it is deleted or aggregated/anonymized. Our service providers retain data according to their own retention policies. Aggregated or anonymized data, which can no longer identify a device, may be retained for longer.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, such as 16 in parts of the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information or advertising identifiers from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us at the address in Section 12 and we will take steps to delete it.
Because we do not collect information that identifies you by name or email, we may need your advertising ID to locate and act on data associated with your device. To exercise any right, contact us at the address in Section 12. We will respond as required by applicable law.
We and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you live, including countries that may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
